The Host Tent
Volunteering with Camp Quixote is a fantastic experience. Just imagine sipping a cup of hot cocoa while chatting with the campers... a great way to get to know the Camp Quixote community!Shifts at the Host Tent provide the most direct and easiest way to volunteer with the camp. Volunteer Hosts offer hospitality, good company, and a welcoming presence to the camp members while attempting to satisfy the concerns of the neighborhood where the camp is located. The camp has a system for policing itself, so little is required from the Volunteer Hosts in the way of security. To volunteer in the Host Tent:
First, check out the online volunteer schedule below, and pick a shift that you would like to fill. Then, contact the hosting faith community for the volunteer training schedule (the trainings are brief but thorough). Finally, email the volunteer coordinator to request the shift.
